Fai, Fai! My first cosplay that wasn't thrown together. This was SO MUCH FUN to wear, especially once I got Mokona to carry around with me. <3 The pants are actually a pair of dress pants I already had (okay, they belong to my mom, but she let me wear them. >>;), that were the right shape and fit for Fai's outfit. The shirt was bought online, though I may attempt sometime to make one myself. The vest is made of suiting fabric and is lined on the inside, and was the first piece of clothing I actually worked on sewing that I DIDN'T mess up. XD The wig is a Monica in 613 from Cosworx which I cut and styled mostly by myself. It was my first attempt at doing more than trimming a wig/cutting in little sections of bangs, and I was REALLY nervous I'd mess it up, but I'm really happy with how it came out. <3 I plan to get a bowtie later to match the artbook image I was using for reference. Fai's uniform in the manga actually has three versions, one of which does have a tie, but I want to do the artbook version of this costume so I don't have to pick between them.
