Construction Details:

This was my first costume. Built from clothes i got from thrift stores and cut and pieced together. Its a horrible costume, but I love it. my mom helped alot, cause i had to wear it as she poked me with needles... i mean sized me to help sew it together. At first there wasn't a helmet, but later i butchered a baseball helmet into the Helmet with newspaper chicken wire and plaster of paris. needless to say its a bit hefty. I would love to have someone skilled in costuming help me to make a better version. BTW the boots are my dad's, they are legitamatly from the 70's, and i painted them yellow, with acrilic paint! I like this costume, I need to wear it again... if it still fits...
