I love Ashitaka's character, and I identify with him in a lot of ways. I've been planning this cosplay for a long time, several years at least, so it was nice to finally go for it. I'm very, very happy with how this turned out. The fabrics are all high quality (except the hood, but I'll be replacing that) and I put a lot of work into every aspect of the outfit. The only problem I have is that I'm not that convincing as a guy, but hopefully time and practice will help with that. I still have a few things left to finish, like the leather riding gear; I'm planning on having them finished for my next con.
