This is one of my favorite cosplays that I've made. It's where I really started getting into the whole kimono theme and it's one of the few cosplays I have that I feel very comfortable and natural in. This was also the cosplay that made me realize how simple kimono are to make. Saya was exciting because she's such a high-spirited character so I could really have fun with her. I think the most challenging part of this costume was the pattern and to this day I'm not 100% pleased with it. One day, I'd love to remake it with a nicer paint job and with a lighter fabric material. The material I have now is really heavy and thick (although it pulls off the flowy effect magnificently) and since I wear this cosplay in the summer a lot, I really roast.
