Construction Details:

Making a knock off Versace turned into a rather difficult feat. I was hellbent on achieving the same silhouette which required sewing a bra into the bodice which proved to be more of a hassle then it really should have been. Seven yards of black silk went into this dress because it required being cut on the bias. Spent about three days allowing the fabric to drape on my dress form before I ever started sewing anything together. The love knot and earrings were a last minute sculpey job since the pieces I commissioned from a jeweler weren't finished in time for Dragon*Con. I'm fairly happy with the finished product since I was wanting to actually look like the embodiment of Vesper and not just some girl in a costume and have been told that I pulled her off very believably. Oh and my Bond was awesomely fabulous for allowing me to talk him into cosplaying this with me.
