Personal Thoughts:

This was the first costume that I made completely by myself! ...as you can probably tell, from the horrible fabric choices and whatnot. I had basically no idea what I was doing. The white part is queensland crepe, the red parts are satin, and I didn't know what to do for shoes at all, so half the time I wore sneakers, and the other half of the time I wore like 3 pairs of socks. I also didn't have a black bokken at first, and got one for my second year. I have since remade the costume, but can't find any decent pictures of the remake. Cotton sateen was used for most of the parts.
