Construction Details:

I made this costume at the last minute before A-kon 18 when I realized I wouldn't have time to finish any of my bigger projects. The hakama were made from instructions for Heian era hakama, and the kimono was adapted from instructions to make kosode. It's ended up being one of the most comfortable costumes I have, and I think it will probably be my fall-back costume for the rest of my life.
