Construction Details:

Prop made for D.Gray cosplay ~ Wings: double layer white craft foam with wire in between to retain shape and durability & spraypainted gold. Body, horns, legs: bright yellow-gold plain cotton, stuffed with batting, hot glue gun used to create the thick rings around the horns and legs. Small peices of wire put into the horns to make it curve, but not in the legs. Entire thing was then spraypainted gold. Tail: used a about a 1/2" diameter cord, wrapped wire around it, then wrapped around the entire thing with the same cloth used for body. bent the end into a swirl and hot glued onto flame-shaped peice of craft foam for the tail end, and swirly design on other side was drawn on using hotglue.

Personal Thoughts:

First time I actually tried making something like this, bought a lot of extra materials in case I messed up the first time, but what was supposed to be my "trial run" actually turned out pretty okay (after lots of trial and error) so I just kept it.
