Construction Details:

Nejibana is made out of cardboard, hotglue, and paper clay. Nuts were epoxyed to the end of a 5 feet PVC pipe while the bolts were glued to the blade and tail so that they could be screwed on and twist off for easy transportation. The base were all shaped with cardboard, held together with hotglue then evened out with paperclay. Recycled chopsticks were used as the connecting bars and have paper clay added on to them. It is then primed with gesso and painted. I included one coat of resin to strengthen the whole blade. Prop made for Amande

Personal Thoughts:

I try to keep my materials on the enviromentally friendly side. this is my frist time making a spear and although I have some things I would like to change, making it taught me a lot of things and I'm quite happy with it.
