Construction Details:

Q-Chan plushie that I made to go with my Count D costumes. He's Count D's pet bunny/bat and is often seen sitting on D's shoulder. His coloration varies in the manga and I chose the yellow and purple version from the cover of volume 8 since I thought it was cutest.

I made the pattern myself and sewed the plushie by hand, including embroidery for the face. The ears have boning in them to help them stand up and the wings and feet are wool interfaced with felt to help stiffen them. I inserted magnets into the feet and sewed magnets or metal bits into the shoulder of my first two Count D costumes so the plushie could cling to me. He sticks but unfortunately tends to tip over a lot. One of these days, I’ll have to try to fix that. ^_^;;
