Construction Details:

One of my favorite (and warmest!) cosplays. Alas, since the first convention I wore it to was Katsucon 2008, I don't have many pics of it. I'm quite proud of the Captain's Haori--which was made out of a linen-cotton blend, and lined. Also, the entirety of the design on it, and the sigil of the 4th division was completely embroidered. The Obi was originally three separate pieces, until we decided after experimenting with seeing how it would behave in actual wearing of the costume, that it was better sewn together to keep its correct shape.
