Construction Details:

Baiken had been a costume i REALLY wanted to do for a while, and had an opportunity when my roommates wanted to do a large Guilty Gear group. I used black and white linen for the base kimono, and painted and appliqued most of the designs. the obi is a twill blend, and hand painted as well. i bought and re-fabricated a pair of sandals, and made the arm guard and "socks". the wig was a botch from cosworx, which i had to mercilessly sew 10 new wefts and 5 new tracks of hair into. it was enough to convince me to never buy from them again, because of shipping mishap and then giving me an entirely different wig that was altogether wrong. but i'll let that be. it's about the only thing displeasing me about the costume. that and the sword which i am waiting on from a friend.
