Construction Details:

Even though the book details that the dress was made out of satin, it wasn't drawn to look like satin, so I spent a lot of time trying to find a fabric that best resembled the look of the movie dress. It was a pain to work with, but I really love it overall. Hand-sewing the little lacing bits was way more time-consuming than I expected it to be D:

Personal Thoughts:

One of those cosplays you never really think of doing, but when you do...you realize you've always wanted to do it. This was a major nostalgic movie for me, a part of my childhood and I had an urge to bring it back into my life. I was really glad I did.
