Ok, this was my first real grown up costume, so it's pretty bad. Especially when you look at how good some slave leia's are now. I made this in 1996 and it's almost all hand sewn from gold wired ribbon (the details anyway). I used an old bikini and spray painted it bronze and then stitched the skirt panels to it. The boots are made from felt and the other accessories are made from random pieces of gold fabric and cardboard and wire. The chain is a piece of chain from a light kit... I would love to remake this one day.
