I'm a casual cosplayer - I like to cosplay, but I don't go insane doing it or in trying to be perfect (I believe perfection is a flawed concept, anyway, being it's all relative - hence it doesn't exist).

I've been a 'casual cosplayer' since my teens when Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha and etc were just becoming popular/known in the US, so I'm part of the first-ish gen cosplayers group (aka, if you were around to see the original Thundercats on TV...).

While I have made my own cosplays from scratch, I don't do it for all of them. I do, however, 'build' (props, masks, etc) more than I sew - and lately, I've been tooling and lacing leather.
