I do cosplay when I'm not in Asia. I've been doing it since 2000, when I was a wee lass. Language and political studies took be away to various corners of E. Asia as time went on, but I love me some old-school and late 90's anime. And any anime with cats... like What's Michael and Chii's Sweet Home. I enjoy what I like to call "casual" Lolita fashion, which is a little lower key than your average Lolita fare. I also like Kimono, kitsch Chinese fashion, and pearl jewelry.
