Construction Details:

I am most proud of the fabric I got for the hakama - it is *the* perfect fabric in the perfect shade of gray with the perfect skinny black stripes on it. It was a very basic, very easy-to-make cosplay all around.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this grumpy old man and I wanted an excuse to make a Shinsengumi jacket, so win/win tbh

I dunked it into some navy blue Rit Colormore

Would you believe me. If I said. This was a Spirit Halloween wig that I dunked in Rit Dyemore, painstakingly brushed out, and then put the waves back in with bobby pins, a heat gun, and a dream?

I am SO proud of the wig. I hate styling wigs in general but this was a fun challenge that I TOTALLY crushed
