Personal Thoughts:

2023 was the year that I fell down the Yu Yu Hakusho rabbit hole and found that it was the missing puzzle piece to my brain I had been searching for. Believe it or not, this show had been on my watchlist for 20 years thanks to an Adult Swim promo I saw on TV as a kid. I quickly became obsessed and knew within the first four episodes that I NEEDED to cosplay from this series. There are several costumes I want to make from this series, (A GROUP WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE!!!) but I wanted to make Kurama first since he's my favorite! This outfit varies from episode, promotional art, to merchandise, so I decided to lean more towards the ArtFX scale Kotobukiya released in the past since I really loved the details on it, a.k.a. my true love: satin-stitching!
