Story-time! When I was seven years old, I had my first serious crush: Renee Roberts a.k.a. Zakuro Fujiwara, from Mew Mew Power a.k.a. Tokyo Mew Mew. The second she first showed up in the opening, I was captivated. Then when she finally showed up in the series, I was in love! While Renee was pretty stuck-up in the 4kids dub, I really admired Zakuro for her beauty and strength, confidence in herself plus her career, and how she was supportive of her friends. You could say that Zakuro is the reason why I'm drawn to strong, confident women who happen to be pop idols! (a.k.a. like Sheryl Nome~) While I made Ichigo's Cafe Mew Mew uniform a few years back, I wasn't happy with how it came out. With the reboot being such a treat, my love for Zakuro reawakened, as well as marathoning all of Mew Mew Power in under a week, the time had come for a new attempt!!
