Construction Details:

All patterns were made from scratch by me. The bustier, gloves, collar, and boot covers are all made out of stretch pleather. The bustier is finished with (too many) grommets and hand-cut red shantung bias tape. The bustier and collar are both supported with twill backing and plastic boning. The skirt is dip-dyed crepe-back satin, decorated with flat-back rhinestones. The ears and hair accessories were 3D printed.

Personal Thoughts:

I've been wanting to do a version of Freya again for a while, and my friend and I decided on the Tsubasa versions for Anime Los Angeles 2020's Masquerade.

Styling Notes

Trimmed the bangs, and cut and styled the front pieces. Attached the "ears" using a headband underneath the wig, with screws going through the wig into the ears so that there is no visible attachment.
