Personal Thoughts:

I've always been a fan of the Isekai (different-world) genre, particularly the ones from the 90s, such as Magic Knight Rayearth and The Vision of Escaflowne, so it was only a matter of time until I watched Fushigi Yuugi. Surprisingly, the series had been on my to read/watch list since I was 10, so as a part of my 2018 New Years resolution, I finally started the series and fell in love with it right away! I had a feeling that I would end up cosplaying from the series before I even watched it since I was already attracted to the detailed art style I had seen in promo/VHS/DVD/illustrations! Nuriko quickly became my favorite, thanks to their beauty, grace, strength, as well as being unafraid of speaking their mind. (also, I *love* their English dub voice so much! <3 ) This was pretty quick and easy to make as I had wanted to bring something to wear at WinterFest Remix 2019 since it's WINTER!! Unfortunately I was unable to attend WinterFest this year due to my health, but there's always next year! :)

Styling Notes

Sewed a pack of 35" wefts into the wig for the braid until I was happy with the shape & thickness of the braid.

Wig Review

This was my first time sewing wefts into a wig and it was pretty easy to do, but takes time. (I watched several episodes of Sailor Moon SuperS and Fushigi Yuugi while sewing the wefts in)
