Construction Details:

Everything was made by myself, as this was a competition piece. It was my first foray into armor making, and I used the craft-foam wrapped in fabric method, which the Yaya Han metallic spandex fabric line is awesome for. I will note that you need a lot of patience and hand washing for this method to work well.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my most ambitious builds to date, Gwendolyn has moving wings with two distinct stages of movement to be able to recreate both the way her wings sit at her hips when they're withdrawn and the way they flare up in the back when she flies.
