Construction Details:

I made this costume for an Akatsuki group with friends. I made everything for the entire group except for most of Hanamaru's Sasori costume and some of Kaori-chan's Deidara costume which they made themselves. We only had a month so I worked super hard to do the majority of the work because the members that could sew were in other states at the time. The black coats we made are fully lined with red and close with snaps. I made three different sizes of clouds out of red fabric and painted the white accents on. I made most of the accessories (hat jewelry, my necklace, the five rings, ninja headbands, Deidara's eye seeker and mouth, three pairs of ninja sandals (K-chan and Hanamaru made theirs), and legwarmers/Kisame's armwarmers). I also made the Samehada sword and the venus flytrap head with some help from the wearers. K-chan and I also made Akatsuki pants and shirts. Hanamaru made her pants and puppet top, complete with heart container and intestine like cording. We styled wigs, sprayed hair, and painted each other weird colors. Fun!
