Construction Details:

The base dress is a heavily modified commercial pattern. The petticoat was 12 yards organza and 2 yards of satin with a sequin trim attached. The leggings are 4 way stretch matte milliskin. The jacket is a heavily modified blazer pattern that is entirely lined in casa satin. The bottom half of the jacket is interfaced with shirt tailor. The "petals" were created from antique venise lace. The sleeves were entirely drafted from scratch. I made 21 yards of the blue bias tape for this costume. The belts were beveled, stamped, and painted by hand. Then I put the hardware on with rivets. The armor pieces are black worbla over EVA foam, they attach by with velcro over the belts. The boots were an old pair that were too small for my calves so I cut them off and pulled out the zippers. I drafted covers for them and glued them into place with E6000.

Styling Notes

I added an entire pack of electric blue wefts. Then I sprayed the wig with dry shampoo. I sectioned off the braids and front strands. I braided the sides and tied them with an elastic band. Then I used blue bobby pins to secure the back of the style and sprayed it with Got 2 B Spray.
