Construction Details:

Used a pattern mermaid gown pattern from Vogue, and sewed it out of black peau bridal satin. There are 3 layers to this gown: the outer fabric, a corselet boned with spiral steel bones, and lining.

Personal Thoughts:

I chose to create a mermaid gown for Lust because I felt that the short dress and boots combination looked like a fashion disaster. I think a mermaid gown captured her dark elegance.
