Personal Thoughts:

I watched PMMM about a year after it aired in Japan, and I had NO IDEA what I was in for. At first Homura was my favorite of the magical girls, until Kyoko captured my heart with her fiery, caring personality. It was tough deciding which to cosplay of the two mysterious girls, but I'm grateful that I chose Kyoko, since it's light and comfortable to wear and because I'd probably burn up in Homura's outfit (even though I get cold easily). Since it's been 5 years since PMMM aired, I'm happy that Kyoko received more love (fan + merchandise wise), since she really deserves it! I wore this costume to my very 1st con back in 2014, so that's one of the reasons why it means so much to me. The other reason, big one, is because I guess this is what I consider my first real cosplay. By real, I mean, wore a wig and took time working on this with my mom. I hope to make another Kyoko outfit in the future! (preferably her street wear from Rebellion)
