Construction Details:

Fabric/Material
1)Bought dark maroon fabric and brown fabric from Fabric District, patterned the tunic, sleeves and collar and went from there.
2)Leggings, black shorts, and boots I already had. I am planning to add boot covers but I was unable to finish it for FanimeCon (will be added for Anime Expo 2016)

Red/Black Claw
Referenced foundation from deviantArt:MercerClaws
Foundation: foam and cardboard for the palm, and chopsticks and newspaper for the fingers.
Overlay: Foil and thermoplastic, spraypainted for finish

Arm Guard:
Foam formed with a heat gun and carved design with an xacto knife. Added red jewel and spraypainted.

Shin Guards:
Thermoplastic, painted with acrylic and paint sealed.

Personal Thoughts:

To be honest, this outfit was one of the first outfits I've made on my own with the limited time I had. I've never really used patterns that much so half the time I was hoping I was cutting and sewing the fabric correctly.
