Construction Details:

I already owned the gloves, I purchased the bodysuit and the boots, and I made the helmet from a base snowboarding helmet. The helmet took two months of consistent work to finish and was the source of much frustration but I've never been more proud of a piece of work. First I made a base of the ears, and glued on wire mesh. Then I covered each ear with paper clay, sanding between coats. After I finally got the texture I was happy with, I sprayed the helmet with primer, and then yellow spray paint. I taped off the blue sections and sprayed those parts too. When everything was dried, I traced each shape with sharpie and put peel and cling window tint on the visor to darken it. After electrical tape on the edge of the bottom opening, I was finished!

Personal Thoughts:

Celty is my favorite character from the series, and this is my favorite of any of the costumes I've worked on.
