Construction Details:

This costume was purchased but altered by me. I added gems to the inside of every rose, detached the bodice from the skirt making this dress two pieces. I added all new interfacing and boning to make the dress last longer. All in all the deconstruction and reconstruction of the dress took me about 12 hours, which I feel I could have made the base to the dress in that time from scratch. But it serves it purpose and I do love the way it photographs!

Personal Thoughts:

This dress was purchased from a cosplay costume seller but I have altered it since these photos to make it a two piece dress! I just love the fullness of the skirt and the quality of the fabric. For the price I paid this dress is ABOVE what it should be. It even is boned!

Belle is one of my favorite characters and she is on my list to create my own complete ballgown of her soon. I currently use this piece mostly for birthday parties I am booked on.
