Hoo boy, Kozaki-san why do you have to make these designs so hard to unravel?
Blue short kimono (is there a term for this??? idfk and it's bothering me because it's def not a haori) is stretch sateen, Juban is some sort of white shirting for the sleeves and collar and some leftover (bright red lol) linen for the body.
The over skirt/robe/whatever is linen, with the under layer being the same white shirting as the juban. Both layers are lined, and it closes at the hip with a pair of snaps.
The orange rope trims were all custom dyed using iDye Poly. The tasuki is laced through two brackets on the back of the breastplate to hold that in place, and the orange obi-jime ties through two more brackets on the bottom of the breastplate.
My leggings were done by cutting slits into a pair of leggings (about 2" deep from the fold and 4" apart?) and then gathering the middles and sewing ribbon around the tie point.
The breastplate is actually rubber floor mat because I couldn't find thin EVA foam and was pressed for time. Everything is secured with either epoxie or contact cement, and the Hoshido emblem was done in layered craft foam.
Naginata1.0 is actually now dead because it got trashed in the car on the way home from Katsucon. :/ But! It was pink insulation foam covered in like 5 layers of ModPodge Hard Coat secured to the shaft by pegs in each of the PVC brackets.
