Construction Details:

The skirt is a jade peau de sois. It's a giant circle skirt over a large hoop skirt. The top was altered from the Simplicity Fairy Godmother pattern. The top is white casa, with gold poly shantung applique and bias tape. The white trims are a pre-ruffled white trim and a custom trim I made from white Joann's costume sheer. I pleated the back of the white overskirt by hand to give it a more historical feel. The headpiece is large gems from Allstarco glued to filigree pieces and sewn onto a gold pleather headband. The wig is four wigs sewn together.

Styling Notes

I bought four cheap wigs and hand stitched them together into one. I soaked them in fabric softener beforehand and continued to condition with motions oil sheen as I worked.
