Construction Details:

I took Simplicity 2325 and cut 5 inches off of the sleeves. I also drafted a circle skirt instead of using the gathered panels to reduce bulk, and drafted a neck facing because I was not adding a collar. I drafted the apron from scratch. The dress is made from Tango Red stretch sateen and closes in the back with a 22 inch zipper and hook/eye. The apron is Kona cotton printed from Spoonflower and lined in satin because the dress fabric sticks to everything. The head wrap is a triangle of the dress fabric. The flowers are silk flowers glued to alligator clips and decorated with AB Crystals for a bit of sparkle.

Really fun and easy costume.
