Construction Details:

I altered my friend's Sesshomaru patterns to make this! It was easy once I took time to figure out what's going on in the top

The whole thing is made of red and cream polyester and it's fully lined by hand! ^q^ The sleeves hold with invisible thread and there's 20-something buttonholes on each sleeve, each done by hand over the span of a few evenings; the inner layer is another cream kimono top but it's short-sleeved since I didn't want it to show inside the sleeves. The ears are leftover fur from Sesshomaru's fluff and pink fleece, they're sewn onto the wig to make sure they were secure.

I bought the necklace off ebay, it's some kinda official merch.

Personal Thoughts:

This started out as a joke but then I realized I really love Inuyasha and I was really happy (and embarassed) to wear this... I'm pretty happy with how it came out and it was nice to have a group again.

I also forgot to wear my necklace for half of the day.
