Construction Details:

It took me 1.5 years to chain stitch embroider the applique dragons (about 20 min every day) and you can barely see them. Buttons are all molded from clay, then casted from Smoothcast. Pattern based on medieval houppelande. The rod is a curtain rod that's been modified.

Personal Thoughts:

Definitely the longest I've worked on a costume (on and off). Started in late 2013, finished in middle 2015.
