rn**Bows**
rnMade using Sparkle Pipsi's Bow tutorial. I used Casa Satin (thank god they at least had those colors! ;-; )

rn**Gems and Tiara**
rnResin casted by me. To color, I used nail polish on the flat part of the gems and backed them with metallic gold tag board. Tiara is craftfoam heated and molded. Sealed with clear acrylic and painted gold.

rn**Chest Armor and Leotard**
rnI made my chest armor and leotard detachable. I used Butterick 5781 Leotard pattern for the chest armor and altered a white capezio leotard I bought from a dance store several years ago (although, I probably could make my own leotard at this point)

rn**Collar, Skirt, Choker, and Ankle Straps**
rnBecause JoAnn's is a butt and discontinued all it's good colors (in my opinion) I had to order a bagillion swatches of different types of satin to find something close to the sheen of casa satin. (I probably could have asked someone but I'm stubborn and like to find things for myself...) I found the Mi Amor Duchess Satin line to be the closest match for my needs. The skirt is a knife/box pleat combination. Collar I drafted a pattern for myself.

rnI had a pair of character shoes I used in high school and used Design Master Floral Paint to make them match the skirt and collar

Personal Thoughts:

Sailor Venus is my second favorite sailor guardian next to Jupiter.

Styling Notes

The Venus style is perfect for Sailor Venus! The bangs just needed a bit of trimming and teasing and it was ready to go.
