Construction Details:

The armor and shield are made from craft foam covered in mod podge and resin. I used both Smooth Cast 65 and 66 in the construction. It took about a week of work to make all of the armor.

The sword is made from wood. I started with a thin board which I sanded to create the edges of the blade. Additional peices were then glued on to create the handle and hilt pieces.

Personal Thoughts:

I chose this costume after watching RWBY for the first time and wanting to try something different after a break from making costumes. I originally picked it because I wanted to try making armor. Had a couple setbacks over the process but all in all I believe it was good experience!

Styling Notes

Pretty much just styled the bangs and used spray to create a chunky look throughout the wig.

Wig Review

The wig as delivered worked pretty well although I will probably thin it out a bit in the future to eliminate some of the bulk.
