Construction Details:

this was actually a pretty simple costume.

the body suit is made from just regular black spandex i got from joanns. i used a side seam body suit pattern and there's a zipper up the back. i made a fake qi pao collar just by using bias tape. the yellow design is attached with heat and bond and then hand stitched down for extra security. the red beads are also hand sewn on.

all the armor parts are made with foam and fabric. the fabric is spray adhesived on and the white trim is bias tape i sewed or hot glued on. most of the armor pieces are held on with the red fabric. the shoulder parts just slip on over my head.

bought the shoes at the thrift store. added some red fabric that isn't permanently attached.

the boomerang is made out of pink insulation foam. my dad carved it for me and i sealed it with wood glue and spray painted it. i made the tassels with beads and embroidery floss. the brown is stretch pleather i hot glued on.

Personal Thoughts:

i'm gonna be honest, not that into inuyasha but man do i love me some ninja girls.
