Construction Details:

The purple jacket and white kimono part where made from a pattern I created. I made the obi so the bow was already attached and lined with interfacing so it would stand up on it's own. I styled a long black wig and added a black extension for the bun on top. The necklace and hair pieces were made from a lightweight foam, gessoed and painted. I phoned in the shoes with authentic Chinese flip flops from a Bleach costume I made earlier. And the wrist string was rat's tail.

Personal Thoughts:

A little late putting this up but was a blast to wear and got to dress up with my good friend Oshidori. I made the patterns for all the pieces, styled the wig and made the props from clay and paint. I was nominated for a Hall of Cosplay award but didn't win. I ended up selling this costume but maybe in the future will remake and cosplay her once again!
