The top is a corset of which I cut/shaped and painted. I painted it with special vinyl and leather paint. The front of the corset closes with a zipper. I covered the back with an extra piece of old corset material to close off the ribbon part that shows skin. I pinned the plate to my top. I added hard silver material to the sides with a glue gun. I didn't want stitching. I added foam stars with the same glue, and painted over it as well. I tried to follow the Jim Lee/ Scott William's art as well as I could. I can only get better. I used the iron-on patches you use to mend jeans together for the white stars on my bottom piece. I found it in white, cut stars out from a print out . I ironed them on and glued the corners with regular krazy glue. I ordered the accessories that you see. ( Tiara, cuffs, arm band, neck choker) I spray painted the chest plate to match my silver lining on the corset.
I added white foam to the boots I purchased specifically for the suit. I added white fabric to the foam with the same hot glue gun glue lol. Originally, I intended on using some other boots I was going to paint. but I ended up cutting the upside down " V " shape too short, making the boots to no longer be knee-high. with these navy blue flat boots, I got lucky at the store. Jcpenny had a sale. I almost didn't want to ruin them. lol. anyway, the lasso should have been gold. but at last minute I had no chance to get it. in reality ordering my accessories took me all year ( to find and etc ) but in constructing the suit altogether maybe had I not been distracted with work less than a month. I ordered contacts from Honeycolor.com they have prescription lenses as well. they gave me a free pair. $20 bucks for two ! darn good deal. They pick the free pair. I got pink ^_^ XD !
