Construction Details:

pretty much jenni made her's and we all copied it. made with white and blue miliskin spandex i think. i double layered all the white parts of my suit.

i altered a pattern i had made for an existing costume, pretty much just meant adding some underbust darts. i made the striped bands by serging long strips of fabric, it was difficult trying to figure out the right width to cut the strips with the right amount of seam allowance. the blue is extra long on the bottom so i could fold it over. the sailor collar is stiffened with interfacing so it holds it's shape better. i faced the collar to the top. i should have probably top stitched it down too. the bows are made with more strips of fabric and hand sewn to the bottoms. i messed up the measurements of the tie, but it's hand sown on also.

Personal Thoughts:

i really don't know anything about idolm@ster but jenni asked me to be part of the group and i thought the swim suits were cute so i agreed.
