About this Costume
Construction Details:
Outfit:
Vest made by tigrah, then lined with double sided ribbon
Hat tigrah constructed a pattern, green fabric from vest used for top portion. Puffy paint design done by me, hanging balls are plastic and spray painted gold.

Talim wig traded from Elvenone. wig clasps created using utensil holders that were spray painted and kept in place with foam.

Bandeau created using excess cotton fabric lying around attached to a strapless bra, and then tied off in the back.
Large see through pants purchased online, trimmed bottom to create petal pattern and then I hand puffy painted the design.

Belt created using red and gold ribbon I found at Michaels and then I hand drew the design using gold fabric pens.

Modified white prom gloves and added trim and holes, attached red piece via velcro.

Arm pieces are created using warped soft foam sheets, that I had colored red and then puffy painted the pattern

Sandals found at payless and then modified with ball design.

The two weapons I hand constructed using paper templates I created. The blades are cardboard that has been wrapped in masking tape and shaped to have the double blade, they are attached to a dowel system of one large dowel screwed into a smaller dowel and then hot glued for support. The edge pieces are created using foam and masking tape.
To create the 3D gold design I hot glued the wooden dowels and then hand painted over the hot glue
Personal Thoughts:
Definitely the hardest costume that I have constructed purely because of the detail work.
