Construction Details:

Tails: The tails are connected to a harness on my back. I have a hook I created from a 5/8 inch metal rod that hangs and has 3 pvc connectors at the bottom (just under my lower back) where the tails attach. The tails themselves are made of pvc pipes that I used a heat gun to melt/bend and then covered them with expanding insulation foam for the body.

Although this cosplay was somewhat "simple/normal level of difficulty" so to say it was difficult figuring out how to make everything work together.

Personal Thoughts:

This cosplay was SO much fun! I didn't get all 9 tails together for the first convention Animazement but I had all 9 for Otakon a few months later. The tails were about 18 lbs and although they weren't heavy they did wear on my back over time so I had to take a break from time to time. But I met so many awesome people and ran into many good friends and in general my cosplay was loved so much by everyone and it just made me so happy that everyone loved it as much as I did.
