About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Skull Pin - Bought
Scarf - Double-layered pink and white alternating polar fleece with red bias tape accents. This scarf is practically a neck brace considering how thick it is.
Bikini Top - Black Lamé from a pattern I made up, painted on with Jacquard fabric paint. (NOTE: I do not recommend using this fabric. It is awful to sew because of the nature of the fabric itself. Just use something else. I promise it will go better)
Bikini Bottoms - Same black lamé fabric, pattern also made from scratch.
Bracelets - Upholstory foam covered in lamé with wooden domes from Hobby Lobby.
Socks - From Sock Dreams.
Boots - Boot from Charlotte Russe, painted on with Angelus leather paint. - Personal Thoughts:
- This costume was a learning experience for me to say the least. I used fabrics I was not comfortable with, I made my second large prop, and I wore an incredibly skimpy costume in public. It was interesting to say the least. However, it was made completely worth it due to the fact that I made this costume expressly to wear it with my best friend SkylitEyed, who was my adorable Nia, and getting to do a duo cosplay with her was so incredibly fun. I will be fixing up various things about the costume over time and update this page periodically!
