Construction Details:

This costume weighs about 15 lbs, somehow. Probably the pants. Yeah, 4 yards of fabric per pants leg probably did it.

I did quite a bit of research on Shinto priest outfits and I'm still not 100% sure on how their floating sleeves work, but I'm pleased with the outcome. Most of the work honestly went into figuring out how everything was supposed to fit together.

For how much fabric is in it, the entire ensemble moves very well. I'm very happy! ...ironing it before wear, however...

Personal Thoughts:

I feel Hoozuki on a spiritual level. His normal outfit is pretty plain, so when this one came up in the anime I immediately decided to jump on it.

This is one of those rare costumes that's quite voluminous and showy without being particularly uncomfortable or hard to move in. It's a miracle
