Construction Details:

The wig is a basic black wig from eBay.

The tiara is a piece of aluminum that was painted gold. The gem was found in a bag of gems we found at a craft store.

The fuku was from an ice skater leotard pattern. We pleated the skirts and made the collar pattern on our own. The shoulder rolls were all hand sewn but very sturdy.

The bows are made from cotton with heavy non-fusible interfacing inside to keep its shape.

The brooches are made from resin.

Personal Thoughts:

Definitely lived out a personal childhood dream. Sailor Mars is one of my favorite Sailor Scouts and my favorite form is their Super form. I had so much fun being my own superhero!
