Construction Details:

This was mostly made with assistance from my dad--the main shape was carved out with a jigsaw, and the blade was beveled with a router, which we also used to round the edges of the hilt. Then we used a drill head to create grooves in all of the areas that need to be raised, and sanded one side so that it'd flatten out and create the illusion of being lower. My dad did this part, so there is a panel of the scissorblade that isn't raised that should be, but the rest was such hard work that I'm not going to complain. Then it was painted and primed.
