About this Costume
Construction Details:
The base pattern for the jacket that was used was from Simplicity, many alterations added in order to have the slits on the sides and back along with the navy blue bordering on the bottom.

I made my own pattern pieces for the red under flaps, the front blue part and sleeves and the collar.
The majority of the fabric used was blue, navy blue and white suiting fabric, lined with purple satin.

About 6 yards of the gold chord trim was used along with 2 yards of blue chord trim.

34 buttons were used, originally they were black but I painted them gold since the shape and size of the buttons were what I wanted.

The pants were made from a home pattern of mine and the boots I added a brown cuff to them.
Personal Thoughts:
Harder than I thought it would be but worth the time put into it.
This bad boy broke 6 needles...I love him to pieces but lets just say I will be a bit cross with him for a while.

Still...I don't regret anything~ Love being Rhys with a passion.

Also the creator loved it when I met her while wearing it.

Wig Review
Fits my head rather nicely but it has a bit more shine to it than I like. I plan to tone that done next.
