Construction Details:

I used figure-skating costumes as inspiration when I made this. The leotard and gloves are made of a white spandex. The leotard was made by buying an old leotard at Savers and using it as a pattern. The gloves were done freehand.
The skirt is a simple circle skirt. The waistband is made of the same material as the leotard and was sketched freehand. The skirt is separate; it zips up the back and attaches to the leotard with snaps.
The bow, glove bands and choker are a red Silky Solid from Jo-Ann and were done freehand. The bow attaches to the leotard with a large snap.
The brooch was sculpted in Sculpey and decorated with pearls and plastic gems. The moon details and wings on the hair decorations were also made in Sculpey. The red hair discs are resin, and the hair decorations are plastic pearls with Sculpey wings attached. They attach with bobby pins.

Personal Thoughts:

I've wanted to do this since I was 10. Mission accomplished.
