Construction Details:

The boots are made from craft foam. To make it shine, I alternated layers of metallic gold paint and mod podge gloss. The armor is made from hot glue, which I shaped by applying the glue directly to baking paper with the hot glue gun. I first drew an outline in the glue and then quickly filled it in. Because the paper is nonstick, once it dries you can just peel it off and you have your scale! This was the most tedious and time consuming part u.u after I made the scales, I attached them to a bikini top and loincloth I had made with more hot glue. I then painted the whole thing with a dull gold and highlighted with a bright yellow gold and used a brown in between the scales. The flower badges ( I don't know what else to call then XD;) made from celluclay paper m�ch� shaped with a circular cookie cutter. The center is made from hot glue and the petals are craft foam. The cape is 100% polyester and made to just slip over my head.
