Construction Details:

Jacket made of this amazing green tufted velvet with a wiiiide repeating square grid on it and lined with a black and white linen herringbone.
10 box pleats on side back seam with a split up CB hem to hips for dynamic movement. Trims in cotton and metallic yarns. Mandarin collar with shoulder seams sloping to back. Welt pockets (hardest aspect of costume considering thickness of green velvet). Will make a poly/linen ecru poet shirt to match and fine linen black trews (traditional tight Irish pants) to match.

Personal Thoughts:

Jacket will be incredibly easy, thanks to the time period he wanted it from.
